Actor Hrithik Roshan has lauded girlfriend Saba Azad’s performance in the Amazon Mini TV series Who’s Your Gynac following her win at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024.
Congratulating Saba, Hrithik penned a heartfelt note on Instagram on Friday. “Yay. So proud of you, Sa! This was such an incredible performance. I think I called this one. Posted @withregram @theviralfever We’re thrilled to announce that Saba Azad has been honoured as the National Winner in the category of Best Actor/Actress in a Comedy Role at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024 for her role of Dr Vidushi in Who’s Your Gynac,” he wrote.
Who’s Your Gynac, which premiered on Amazon Mini TV on 28 September last year, features Saba as Dr Vidushi Kothari, a 28-year-old optimistic OB-GYN. Dr Kothari struggles as a young physician, navigating both personal and professional challenges while addressing clinical cases. The series, presented by TVF, also stars Kunal Thakur, Karishma Singh, Vibha Chhibber and Aaron Arjun Koul in key roles.
Hrithik and Saba made their relationship official in 2022. Hrithik, who co-parents his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan with his ex-wife Sussanne Khan, finalised his divorce from Sussanne in 2014 after 14 years of marriage.
On the work front, Hrithik will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s actioner War 2, set in the YRF Spy Universe.
Saba, on the other hand, is currently working on Anurag Kashyap’s yet-untitled film.
