Hostel Daze Season 3

Amazon Prime Video released the teaser Hostel Daze Season 3 on Tuesday. Created by TVF chief Arunabh Kumar and directed by Abhinav Anand, the series features Utsav Sarkar, Nikhil Vijay, Luv Vispute, Shubham Gaur, Ahsaas Channa and Ayushi Gupta. The latest season is written by Harish Peddinti, Suprith Kundar and Talha Siddiqui.

In the teaser, we see the main characters going through the third year of their engineering journey. After the exhilarating freedom of the initial years, Ankit, Akanksha, Jaat, Jhantoo, Nabomita and Chirag taste more new experiences.

Hostel Daze Season 3 will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from November 16.

Chevalier

The trailer of filmmaker Stephen Williams’s upcoming film Chevalier is based on the life of French-Caribbean musician Chevalier de Saint-Georges. Written by Stefani Robinson, the movie stars Kelvin Harrison Jr., Samara Weaving, Lucy Boynton, Marton Csokas, Alex Fitzalan, and Minnie Driver. The film is produced by Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, Stefani Robinson and Dianne McGunigle.

The trailer gives us glimpses of the incredible life of Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges. The illegitimate son of an African slave and a French plantation owner, Bologne (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) rises to improbable heights in French society as a celebrated violinist-composer and fencer. He had an ill-fated love affair and a falling out with Marie Antoinette (Lucy Boynton) and her court.

Chevalier will hit the cinemas in 2023.

Zootopia+

Walt Disney Animation Studios on Monday late evening dropped the official trailer of its upcoming animated series Zootopia+. The series is directed by Josie Trinidad and Trent Correy and produced by Nathan Curtis. The voice cast in the series includes Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Rich Moore, Byron Howard, Shakira, Jenny Slate, Idris Elba, J K Simmons and Octavia Spencer.

The official synopsis reads, “...Zootopia is a short-form series that dives deeper into the lives of some of the residents, including Fru Fru, the fashion-forward arctic shrew; ZPD dispatcher Clawhauser, the sweet-toothed cheetah; and Flash, the smiling sloth who’s full of surprises.”

Zootopia+ will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from November 9.

Carnival Row Season 2

The teaser trailer for the second and final season of Carnival Row was released by Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday. The American neo-noir fantasy television series, created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham, is based on Beacham’s unproduced film script. The series stars Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, Simon McBurney, Tamzin Merchant, David Gyasi, Andrew Gower, Karla Crome, Arty Froushan, Indira Varma and Jared Harris.

The show follows mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city as tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population.

Carnival Row Season 2 will arrive on Amazon Prime Video on February 17.

Dharavi Bank

MX player on Tuesday evening shared the official trailer of its upcoming crime thriller series Dharavi Bank. Directed by Samit Kakkad, who is known for films like Ascharyachakit! and Half Ticket, the series has been extensively shot in various locations across the Mumbai slum of Dharavi. It stars Suniel Shetty, Vivek Anand Oberoi, Sonali Kulkarni, Luke Kenny, Freddy Daruwala, Shanthi Priya, Santosh Juvekar and Nagesh Bhosle.

The trailer shows a criminal empire ruled by the unattainable Thalaivan (Suniel Shetty) right in the heart of Mumbai. JCP Jayant Gavaskar (Vivek Oberoi) is on a mission to bring down the gangster. The trailer is filled with gunfights, murders and other criminal activities.

Dharavi Bank will arrive on November 19.
