Hostel Days
The trailer of the upcoming Telugu-language comedy drama series Hostel Days was dropped by Amazon Prime Video on Friday. Created by The Viral Fever (TVF) and directed by Aditya Mandala, the series stars Darahas Maturu, Akshay Lagusani, Mouli Tanuj Prasanth, Anannyaa Akulaa, Aishwarya Hollakal and Jaiyetri Makana.
The two-minute-25-second-long trailer follows the journey of six first-year engineering students as they navigate through their lives at an engineering hostel. It is the Telugu version of TVF’s Hindi series Hostel Daze.
Hostel Days will arrive on Prime Video on July 13.
The Nun II
Warner Bros. Pictures on Friday shared the official trailer of its upcoming gothic supernatural horror film The Nun II. It is the sequel of 2018’s The Nun and a spin-off of The Conjuring film series. Directed by Michael Chaves, it stars Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene along with Bonnie Aarons, Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, Jonas Bloquet and Katelyn Rose Downey.
In the two-minute-11-second-long trailer, we see a girl seeing a nun who she thinks should not be there. We also see the murder of a priest. Sister Irene once again encounters a demonic force.
The Nun II will hit cinemas on September 8.
Corner Office
Lionsgate Movies dropped the official trailer of its upcoming film Corner Office on Thursday. Written by Ted Kupper and helmed by Joachim Back, the black comedy stars Jon Hamm in the lead role alongside Danny Pudi, Christopher Heyerdahl and Sarah Gadon.
The two-minute-24-second-long trailer chronicles a man who is suspicious about everything in his new organisation. One day, he suddenly comes across a ‘secret room’ in which anything is possible.
Corner Office will be streaming on Lionsgate Play from August 4.
Trial Period
JioCinema unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming Hindi-language film Trial Period on Friday. Written and directed by Aleya Sen, the comedy stars Genelia Deshmukh and Manav Kaul in lead roles alongside Shakti Kapoor and Gajraj Rao.
We see a single mother on a quest to find a temporary father for her young son in the two-minute-long trailer. She goes to an agency and gets a man. However, he is not the ‘father’ her son wanted.
Trial Period will be streaming free on JioCinema from July 21.
