Hoichoi Bangladesh rolls out eight new shows

They have delivered massive hits like Kaiser, Karagar, Bodh, Sabrina, Dour to name a few; OTT debut of talents like Mehazabien Chowdhury and Afran Nisho received overwhelming love. Now, Hoichoi promises to make 2023 even more action-packed with its upcoming slate. Hoichoi kickstarted 2023 with an event where it announced its upcoming content slate for Hoichoi Bangladesh for 2023.

Bringing back fan-favourite directors and creators like Syed Ahmed Shawki, Tanim Noor, Ashfaque Nipun and Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, Hoichoi is also bringing to its audiences an array of popular and new talents. 2023 marks the arrival of stars like Ziaul Faruq Apurba, Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Azmeri Haque Badhon while new creators like Sunny Sanwar, Faisal Ahmed, Anam Biswas, Taneem Rahman Angshu and Safayat Mansur Rana bring quality entertainment for the viewers.

A Hoichoi Meet 2023 turned out to be a star-studded affair with the top talents from the industry gracing the event.

Talking about Hoichoi Meet 2023, Vishnu Mohta, co-founder Hoichoi, said: “We are extremely proud of ourselves for being the top vernacular OTT platform there is, with 130+ originals in just five years and massive hits from Hoichoi Bangladesh. We launched Hoichoi Bangladesh in 2019, when OTT culture was almost an obscure concept in the country. Ever since Hoichoi’s inception in Bangladesh we have delivered some extremely successful shows that are loved and recognised worldwide. He is a successful businessman and a political contender with the world at his feet, but one day the ground under those very feet is swept away when he is kidnapped. However, things take an even more mysterious turn when he’s suddenly released.

DELTA

2051 Adapted from the novel Priscilla by Mashiul Alam, Delta 2051 is spread across two timelines. Directed by Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, created by Tanim Noor, with Syed Ahmed Shawki as the executive producer, it takes its audience to a future dystopian Bangladesh and how even the smallest of things can create a butterfly effect that can change lives.

RONGILA KITAB

They say love overcomes everything, but is it strong enough to overshadow an illustrious past of crime or outrun everyone out to get you? Directed by Anam Biswas, Rongila Kitab adapted from the famous novel of the same name by Kingkor Ahsan, is a testament to the strength of love.

KAISER LEVEL 2

You have seen Afran Nisho as the gamer and crime-solving quirky detective in the first season. But what happens when he is framed for murder? The second season of Kaiser is directed by Tanim Noor.

MISSION HUNTDOWN

A missing spouse, a complicated web of crime and a group of militants all come together in this one. Will they survive without getting sucked into this? Mission Huntdown, directed by Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed, is all set to keep eyes glued to the screen.

A COMMON MAN

An epitome of morality and a crusader against corruption, he is the painfully ideal citizen. But will his morals remain intact when he comes across an enormous sum of money? What chaos will ensue when the concerned people realise that their money is missing? A Common Man, directed by Ashfaque Nipun and starring Afran Nisho, is a twisted tale of morals, crime and ample drama.

MOHANAGAR 2

The question this time is: Will OC Harun redeem himself in the new season of Mohanagar? Mohanagar 2 is helmed by Ashfaque Nipun.
