Hocus Pocus 2
Disney+ Hotstar released the teaser trailer of Hocus Pocus 2, the sequel to the 1993 fantasy comedy film Hocus Pocus. Directed by Anne Fletcher, Hocus Pocus 2 brings back the iconic trio of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as three witches named Winifred, Sarah and Mary, who are called the Sanderson Sisters. It will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on September 30.
The Magic of Hogwarts
Warner Bros. Entertainment released a making video titled The Magic of Hogwarts. It decodes the existence of the fictional wizard academy, Hogwarts, in the newest film Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, based on the books by J.K. Rowling. In this video, the director, set designer, actors and visual effects supervisor go behind the scenes and give us a glimpse of how the magic realm is brought to life on the big screen.
Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank
Paramount Pictures has shared a new video from their upcoming animated feature Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank. The lyric video contains the training montage that features the official song of the film. Directed by Rob Minkoff and Mark Koetsier, with additional direction by Chris Bailey, the film features the voices of Michael Cera, Ricky Gervais, George Takei, Gabriel Iglesias, Michelle Yeoh, and Samuel L. Jackson. Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank is set for theatrical release in the US on July 15.
Duck & Goose
Apple TV dropped the trailer of their upcoming animated series Duck & Goose. The series is based on the award-winning children’s book series of the same name by Tad Hills. In the trailer, feathered friends Duck and Goose couldn’t be more different, but they have figured out how to bring out the best in one another. The series streams on Apple TV from July 8.
Aaja ve (Khuda Haafiz 2’s new song)
Khuda Haafiz 2’s new song Aaja ve is sung by Vishal Mishra, and penned by Vishal himself along with Kaushal Kishore and director Faruk Kabir. Composed by Gaurav Vaswani, Aaja ve is a heart-tugging number that shows us an emotional Vidyut Jammwal. The July 8 action-packed drama has Vidyut and Shivaleeka Oberoi paired as a couple. The story revolves around the duo as parents and how they evolve as partners to find their daughter.
Rashtra Kavach Om Rashtra Kavach Om, helmed by Aditya Roy Kapur, released a promo two days ahead of the release. After the elaborate trailer a couple of days ago, the all-new 10-second promo reaffirms the fact that Aditya (Om) is the only one who can complete the said mission in the film. The big-booming action, to hit the screens on July 1, also stars Sanjana Sanghi, Jackie Shroff, Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana and Prachee Shah. Presented by Ahmed Khan and directed by debutant Kapil Verma, Rashtra Kavach Om seems to be an action-packed drama with high-octane visuals. Aditya seemed to have trained extensively to prepare for his look for the film, which was earlier titled Om.
Kuler Achaar
Shree Venkatesh Films launched the trailer of their upcoming romcom, Kuler Achaar, starring Madhumita Sarcar, Vikram Chatterjee, Indrani Halder and Sujan Neel Mukherjee in lead roles. Written and directed by Sudeep Das, the trailer opens with a young married couple, played by Madhumita and Vikram, caught by cops in a hotel room after they fail to prove that they are officially married because the girl doesn’t use her husband’s surname. The two-minute-26-second trailer throws up a glimpse of the relatable life scenario that couples face on a daily basis in India.Mainak Bhowmik is the creative director of the family drama. The film is slated to release on July 15.
