Actress Hina Khan has undergone five rounds of chemotherapy following her diagnosis with stage 3 breast cancer, she said in an Instagram video on Monday, adding that she has three more chemotherapy sessions left under the current treatment regimen.

In a video, Hina shared that it is tough for her to cope on some days and she occasionally takes breaks from social media to focus on her healing.

“Please pray for me. This is just a phase. It will pass. I am determined to be absolutely okay. I am fighting,” she said, expressing her resolve to overcome this challenging time.

Hina also acknowledged that her sudden absence from social media has caused concern among her fans about her well-being.

Actresses Rashami Desai and Rubina Dilaik extended their support to Hina in the comments section. Rashami commented, “Your father’s blessings are with you. You are a strong fighter, babe. You look lovely . This too shall pass. I am praying every day and love you.”

The 36-year-old actress first disclosed her breast cancer diagnosis in June. She has kept her fans informed about her treatment and chemotherapy journey since then.

Hina shared a video of her first chemotherapy session in July. She also shared a clip that shows her shaving her head to manage the stress of hair loss. “Remember ladies, our strength is our patience and calm. If we put our minds to it, nothing is unattainable," wrote Hina alongside the video.

Recently, the actress dropped a video wearing a wig made from her own hair.

Hina also posted a series of selfies announcing her return to work.

Hina gained prominence for her role as Akshara in the popular TV serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She is also known for her participation in reality shows such as Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi.

After establishing a fan base through her TV roles, Hina switched to films and OTT content with projects like Hacked and Damaged 2. Her most recent work includes the Punjabi film Shinda Shinda No Papa alongside Gippy Grewal.
