Heart of Invictus
Netflix dropped the trailer of its upcoming five-part sports docuseries Heart of Invictus on Wednesday. The series will follow an international sporting event created by Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex.
In the one-minute-55-second-long trailer, we see several wounded, injured and sick veterans and members of the armed services from around the globe competing in a sporting event. Prince Harry also features heavily in the trailer.
Heart of Invictus will arrive on Netflix on August 30.
Bedurulanka 2012
The trailer of Telugu star Kartikeya’s upcoming film Bedurulanka 2012 has been released by the makers. Helmed by Clax, the film also stars Neha Sshetty in the lead role. The film is said to be inspired by Japanese auteur Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 epic samurai film Seven Samurai.
In the two-minute-34-second-long trailer, we see several people talking about a hoax that the world would be destroyed in 2012. The video then introduces a chain-smoking Kartikeye in his action avatar. We also see a bunch of con artists disguising themselves as godmen to save people from the impending doom in exchange for money and favours.
Bedurulanka 2012 is set to hit the cinemas on August 25.
Live to 100 - Secrets of the Blue Zones
Netflix shared the trailer of its upcoming documentary series Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones. It follows the bestselling author of The Blue Zones series of books, Dan Buettner, in his search for a long and happy life.
The one-minute-37-second-long trailer chronicles Dan Buettner, who is travelling around the globe to discover the secrets of five unique communities where people live extraordinarily long and vibrant lives.
Live to 100 - Secrets of the Blue Zones will be streaming on Netflix from August 30.
Demon
The trailer of Tamil-language mystery horror thriller film Demon was released by Tips Tamil on Wednesday. Directed by Ramesh Pazhaniivel and produced by R.Somasundaram, the film stars Sachin, Aparnathi, Kumki Asvin, Sruthi Periyasamy and Raveena Daha.
The one-minute-49-second-long trailer shows a man haunted by visions of the dead in a flat. We also see him after a life-changing event. We also see a ghost on a killing spree and the man’s determination to stop it.
Demon will arrive in theatres on September 1.
