Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya and his wife Natasa Stankovic have decided to part ways after four years of marriage, the model-actress confirmed in a statement on social media on Thursday, hours after she was spotted leaving Mumbai with her son Agastya.
Natasa’s post gives credence to the speculation of a rift between the couple which has been doing rounds on the Internet for quite some time now. Her post was also shared by Hardik on his Instagram account. Both Hardik and Natasa turned off their comments after receiving a slew of negative remarks from netizens.
“After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family,” Natasa wrote on Instagram.
The 29-year-old actress also said she and Hardik would continue to co-parent Agastya. “We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness,” reads her post.
“We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us privacy during this difficult and sensitive time,” she signed off.
Natasa and Hardik got engaged on January 1, 2020. They had a low-key court wedding on May 31, 2020, amid the first phase of the pandemic-induced lockdown. Their first child was born on July 30, 2020. On February 14, 2023, they renewed their wedding vows in a ceremony in Udaipur. However, Natasa’s absence from this year’s IPL and World Cup matches, along with her silence on Team India’s World Cup win, sparked rumors of their separation.
