Halle Bailey and her boyfriend DDG have announced the arrival of their baby boy, their first child together, on Saturday.
Revealing the baby boy’s name to be Halo, Bailey wrote on social media, “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son. Welcome to the world my Halo The world is desperate to know you ♥️.”
Bailey’s note was accompanied by a picture that shows the actress-singer holding Halo’s tiny palm in her hands. She also made him wear a golden bracelet with his name engraved on it.
Soon after her post, several Hollywood actresses and singers flooded the comment section with their love and blessings. “Welcome to earth, Halo. We’ve been expecting you. congrats, mama ,” wrote Barbie World rapper Nicki Minaj. Actress Rachel Zegler commented, “Welcome baby halo!!!!! And congratulations beautiful mama,” while American singer Queen Naija wrote, “I know he’s adorable.”
DDG, who is known for his rap songs 9 Lives (2022) and Rizz (2023), also shared the picture on Instagram. “my biggest blessing by far son son.. never been so in love baby halo,” he captioned it.
Bailey and DDG have reportedly been dating for more than a year. However, the actress kept mum about her pregnancy despite speculations by fans and repeated questions by reporters.
