Singer Justin Beiber’s wife Hailey Bieber has opened up about her mental health challenges on Instagram, saying that she had to experience some of the “hardest” and “saddest” moments of her adult life in the year 2023 that made her emotionally “fragile”.

"I like to make jokes about how I feel because it's easier than admitting I'm having a hard time. But truthfully since 2023 started I have had some of the saddest, hardest moments I've ever had in my adult life and my mind and emotions have been fragile to say the least,” the American model, who tied the knot with Justin in 2018, wrote on her Instagram story.

“And I know so many other people feel the way I feel, so just know you're not alone," she added.

Speaking about the importance of being empathetic towards each other, Hailey wrote, “let's keep being there for one another. Let's be there for loved ones and friends and family and strangers. Let's just be there for people.. let's keep showing up for each other even when it's hard. We're better together.”

Hailey and Justin started dating six months after the latter’s break up with singer Selena Gomez. The two got engaged in July 2018 and tied the knot later that year in September. Selena had dated Justin on and off from 2010 to 2018. Both Hailey and Salena have faced strong reactions from fans on the internet about their relationship with Justin and tried their best to quash rumours about them not being on good terms with each other.

Earlier, fans had picked apart the whole affair and attacked Hailey, claiming she “stole” Justin from Selena.

On March 8, Selena had shared a similar post about her mental health, addressing the “Younger” her. “Please don’t be afraid to ask for help,” she told the younger version of herself in the post.

Hailey has so far not disclosed what is distressing her.
