Actor Gulshan Devaiah has started filming for National Award-winning director Sudhanshu Sari’s patriotic thriller Ulajh.
“It’s been a good year for me so far. Ulajh has a great cast put together, and I’m really looking forward to filming this movie with them…it’s a complicated part that I’m playing in this one,” he recently said, sharing his excitement for the film.
“#ulajh #firstdayoffilming Wish me luck 🤞😀,” wrote the Dahaad actor on June 10 while sharing an image of himself.
Headlined by Janhvi Kapoor, the upcoming film also features Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Sachin Khedekar, Rajendra Gupta and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles.
Gulshan recently shared an image of the entire cast on Instagram. “The price of secrets is higher in the world of Diplomacy” #Ulajh - Shoot begins at the end of the month 🎬,” he captioned the photo.
Set in the prestigious and intriguing world of Indian Foreign Services (IFS), Ulajh follows the journey of a young IFS officer (played by Janhvi Kapoor) belonging to a prominent family of patriots. It portrays how she gets embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while far from her home turf.
Gulshan will next be seen in Netflix’s Guns & Gulaab, a comedy crime thriller series set in the 1990s and which also stars Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav and TJ Bhanu. Gulshan was last seen in the movie 8 A.M. Metro opposite Saiyami Kher and was also part of Amazon Prime Video’s crime thriller series Dahaad alongside Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma and Sohum Shah.
