Actor Kartik Aaryan changes into colourful costumes and breaks into impromptu dance moves at wedding ceremonies in the teaser of Gujju Pataka, an upbeat dance number, dropped by the makers of Satyaprem Ki Katha on Friday.
The Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures production shot the celebratory song with Kartik as a bridegroom in just four days. The newly released song teaser sees Kartik dancing around women dressed as his prospective wives. The Shehzaada actor is first seen in his South Indian avatar as he dominates the screen with a dark green kurta, lungi and shades. Immediately after that, we see him in an orange sherwani and golden kurta, followed by a white suit and a black kurta.
The foot-tapping track has been choreographed by Bosco-Ceaser, who earlier worked with the actor in popular dance numbers like Character Dheela 2.0 in Shehzaada and the title track of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Kartik shared the song teaser on Instagram and called it his “favourite number” from Satyaprem Ki Katha, which also stars Kiara Advani.
Directed by Sameer Vidwans, Satyaprem Ki Katha also features Gajraj Rao, Anooradha Patel and Rajpal Yadav. It is slated to release in theatres on June 29.
