Medical drama show Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from October 6 with yet another set of new medical interns.

The first footage from the latest season’s opening hour shows the new interns being introduced to the medical world by none other than Meredith Grey, in a throwback to Dr Richard Webber’s introduction speech to interns from Season 1.

Here’s a look at the new interns who will appear in Season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy.

Jules Millin (played by Adelaide Kane)

Adelaide Kane’s Jules Millin hides a kind heart beneath her bossy, impulsive outward appearance. The Australian actress has quite a CV to flaunt — she has played Mary Queen of Scots in the CW drama Reign, apart from taking up roles like Ivy Belfrey in Once Upon a Time and Rebeca Bowen in SEAL Team.

‘Blue’ Benson Kwan (played by Harry Shum Jr)

Harry Shum Jr’s ‘Blue’ is very competitive and strives to be the best. The Costa Rica-born Chinese-American, who is also an incredible dancer, is best known for his role as Mike Chang on the Fox television musical series Glee and as the bisexual high warlock Magnus Bane in the TV series Shadowhunters. He has also worked in projects like Crazy Rich Asians and Love Hard as well as the sci-fi film Everything Everywhere All At Once.

Mika Yasuda (played by Midori Francis)

Midori Francis plays Mika Yasuda, a jokester who likes to make people laugh but often gets in trouble for her sense of humour. The 28-year-old began her career in theatre and went on to play the protagonist in the Netflix romcom drama Dash and Lily. Francis’s recent work as Alicia in the Amazon Prime Video web series The Sex Lives of College Girls has also earned her praise.

Simone Griffith (played by Alexis Floyd)

Simone Griffith, played by Alexis Floyd, brings a very grounded but emotional connection to her work. Floyd is best known for her portrayal of Neff in the Netflix drama series Inventing Anna, based on the life of the con artist Anna Delvey and her life in New York City. The American actress also worked in Daughters of Solanas, a 2019 short film directed by Angele Cooper.

Lucas Adams (played by Niko Terho)

Niko Terho’s Lucas Adams is an intern who is set on trying to prove himself as someone who deserves a second chance. The actor is best known for his work as Harry Tupin in the 2020 romcom The Thing About Harry. In this film, Terho has shared the screen with Jake Borelli, who plays Dr Levi Schmitt in Grey’s Anatomy.
