The 65th Annual Grammy Awards saw some of the biggest stars from across the globe make fashion statements that left us in awe. From multi-coloured shimmery dungaree to the good old black gown, here’s what celebrities donned at the ceremony, held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Monday.
Cardi B turned heads in a custom Gaurav Gupta couture dress that was seen at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on January 27. The asymmetrical dress in royal blue had three distinct 3D-sculpted detailing over a sultry low-neck bodice and a flowy train at the back. The American rapper completed the look with sleek jewellery by Messika.
Taylor Swift walked the red carpet in a stunning crop top and skirt set inspired by her latest album Midnights. The midnight blue outfit, designed by Roberto Cavalli, had a high-neck blouse with blue embellishments all over and a matching bodycon skirt to go with it. The All Too Well singer wore purple stone encrusted earrings to go with the look.
Doja Cat went for an all-Versace look. The Say So singer wore a latex one-shoulder gown with a sleek bodice and a flared bottom. Matching latex gloves, statement earrings and a graphic eyeliner completed the look.
The male artists also made a mark with their outfits. Harry Styles had three different outfits for the event. Styles donned a shimmery silver crop top with beige pants and a cream white cropped jacket to receive the awards. The two-time Grammy Awardee also wore a multi-coloured shimmery dungaree to walk the red carpet.
Lizzo opted for a head-to-toe blood orange hooded dress with matching flowers sewed all over it. Underneath the gown, the About Damn Time singer wore an orange corset top with silver embellishments and a matching skirt to go with it.
Italian rock band Maneskin brought their punk rock style to the red carpet. Lead singer Damiano David wore a glam grey top with a stylish neck paired with a brown suit. Drummer Ethan Torchio wore the same top as Damiao and paired it with a beige blazer with a black flower pinned to it. Bassist Victoria De Angelis stunned in a glittery gold strappy dress while guitarist Thomas Raggi went for a pinstripe orange suit paired with a golden shirt underneath.
Smokey Robinson performed on stage in a mint-green tuxedo, complete with a black shirt underneath and a sleek silver necklace to go with it.
Camilla Cabello showed up at the award ceremony in a white bralette with lace work paired with a high-waist skirt. Black Adam star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson went for a stunning mustard suit for the event with layered necklaces to complete the look.
Unholy singers Kim Petras, Sam Smith, Violet Chachki and Gottmik walked the red carpet in red goth outfits. Kim opted for a ruched dress with a stunning veil and a glamorous necklace. Sam Smith wore a theatrical red coat paired with a matching top hat and a lace mask along with latex gloves and a cane.
Jack Harlow went for a toned down all-beige look for the evening with a beige suit paired with a v-neck blue-and-white sweater.
Anitta made a head-turning entry in a glamorous black gown with a corseted sheer bodice and a frill-detailed train. The Brazilian singer paired the gown with Tiffany and Co jewellery and kept her makeup simple with a bronzed glam look.
Beyonce arrived fashionably late at the event in a metallic Gucci. The Renaissance singer later posed with her trophies in another Gucci number — an off-the-shoulder dress with a sculpted back and a golden armour top underneath. A circular headgear, embellished sunglasses and matching earrings completed the look.
British singer-songwriter Adele went for a stunning red dress with ruffles over the shoulder and a belted waist. The Easy On Me singer kept her makeup simple and went for pearl encrusted earrings to complete the look.
