Google hopped on the Jawan bandwagon on Friday by introducing a virtual walkie-talkie that plays Shah Rukh Khan’s popular “Readyyyy?” dialogue from the Atlee directorial which opened to a thunderous response worldwide on September 7.

“Readyyyyy? Because Jawan ko #DhoondengeTohMilega! #JawanOnGoogle @iamsrk @RedChilliesEnt,” the official handle of the search engine posted on X alongside a 30-seconds video explaining how to use the feature.

By simply typing Jawan in the search bar, a walkie-talkie icon appears at the bottom of the screen. When clicked, a voice resembling Shah Rukh responds with a 'Ready' and the browser page gets bandaged up in a nod to the movie's theme.

In Jawan, Shah Rukh’s character Azad communicates with the police through a walkie-talkie when he, along with his band of girls, holds the Mumbai metro hostage. Google’s gimmick is a hat-tip to this moment from the actioner.

This creative twist is also reminiscent of Google’s innovative nod to Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster fantasy comedy Barbie. Searching for Barbie on Google instantly turned the page pink.

Box office reports indicate that Jawan has had a phenomenal opening day, with collections of Rs 65 crore nett in Hindi, Rs 5 crore nett in Tamil, and Rs 5 crore nett in Telugu, taking the total Day 1 earnings to Rs 75 crore nett.

The film has also made a significant impact in international markets, minting approximately Rs 140 crore gross worldwide.

Alongside Shah Rukh, Jawan also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in key roles. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt play cameos, adding to the movie's star-studded lineup.
