Team Nayan Rahasya recently got together to launch the trailer of the film in the presence of 1,000 school students at Mahajati Sadan. It was followed by a magic show. The trailer offers a glimpse into the enigmatic world of Nayan Rahasya, teasing viewers with snippets of suspense, drama, and adventure. As the narrative unfolds, the trailer sets the stage for a cinematic journey.
“The reason behind choosing Mahajati Sadan for the trailer launch is because this place holds a special significance for showcasing a magic show in the film. We’re excited to see the response when the film releases on May 10,” said Ray.
Centred around a gripping storyline involving a young boy with exceptional numerical abilities, Nayan Rahasya explores the mystery behind his disappearance and the murder of Hingorani. The film’s diverse and captivating backdrop includes shooting in locations in Chennai, adding an extra layer of intrigue.
Actor Indraneil Sengupta, who plays Feluda, shared his excitement by saying: “It was a delightful experience! It was heartwarming to see the response from the audience. Each character in this film is truly special. Overall, we are looking forward to the release with a mix of excitement and happiness."
Abhinaba Barua, who plays the character Nayan, said: “I’ll be able to see myself on the big screen for the first time! My friends and I are excited.”
To modernise the iconic character of Feluda, director Sandip Ray has updated certain aspects to reflect contemporary times. This includes incorporating the use of mobile phones, a common tool in modern investigations. Careful consideration was given to preserving Feluda’s essence, as any deviation could evoke strong reactions from fans. Every detail is meticulously crafted to maintain the character’s integrity and the story’s authenticity.
Actor Ayush Das echoed Ray’s sentiments, sharing his enthusiasm for the trailer’s release. “After Hatyapuri, coming back as Topshe is really a different feeling for me,” he said.
Abhijit Guha, who plays Jatayu in the film, said: “Since childhood, I’ve grown up watching Feluda. The influence of those big actors who played this character before me will somehow reflect.”
