Team Parnashavarir Shaap got together recently at Monkey Bar for the success party of the series. The popular Hoichoi web series (the official adaptation of Souvik Chakraborty’s popular book series), directed by Parambrata Chattopadhyay, is a thrilling, spine-tingling experience, which also marks the beginning of actor Chiranjeet’s journey with Hoichoi and features actors such as Surangana Bandyopadhyay, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Anindita Bose and Arna Mukhopadhyay.
“It feels great. I had a feeling that people would love this series. The character arcs are well-defined, and their crisis points have been underlined. The audience has been moved by the plethora of emotions. I am so happy Souvik entrusted me with this story since it was unnerving even to read. We had a big responsibility to bring on screen the cinematic impact it deserves. The goal was to either keep people glued to their screens or lose some days of sleep after watching the flawless performance of the cast in the show," said Parambrata.
The story takes off with Amiya, Mitul, Pallab and Titas, who embark on a serene journey to Chamakpur, but their idyllic vacation takes a sinister turn as eerie occurrences plague their stay. Mitul's strange behaviour hints at a malevolent force lurking, casting a chilling atmosphere over their once-tranquil getaway. Desperate to combat this dark presence, they seek the help of occult expert Niren Bhaduri. Together, they unearth ancient secrets, leading to a sinister past and a menacing curse. Racing against time, they must confront the ferocious entity and save their loved ones.
“The idea of bringing Bhaduri Moshai to life was challenging yet exciting. The series did full justice to the potential of the story. I am glad Param took this up and I could be a part of this show," said Chiranjeet.
"I have acted with Paramda in a number of films. It felt amazing to work with Paramda, the director," said Gaurav. "It was a delight to work with Paramda," said Surang(
