Team Ardhangini recently got together for the special screening of the Kaushik Ganguly film at PVR INOX, South City. Starring Churni Ganguly, Jaya Ahsan, Koushik Sen, Ambarish Bhattacharya and Lily Chakraborty, Ardhangini is a drama that asks can a relationship ever be broken into two halves? After Suman suffers an accident, the two women in his life — Meghna, his wife, and Subhra, his ex-wife — are compelled by circumstances to meet each other. The story revolves around the awkward emotional duel between the two wives — past and present — in a time of personal crisis.

“It was a delight to work with Churnidi... the film is about relationships which have been told in a sensitive way,” said Jaya Ahsan.

“Kaushikda’s films are so sensitive... he captures moments and emotions beautifully. The same goes for Ardhangini. Everyone has performed brilliantly. The characters are etched in memory,” said Koel Mallick.
