Team Eta Amader Golpo recently got together at PVR-INOX (South City) to celebrate the success of the film. On the occasion, a special screening was held that was attended by people from the film industry.
Starring Saswata Chatterjee, Aparajita Adhya, Kharaj Mukherjee, Koneenica Banerjee, Sohag Sen, Amit Ghosh, Arya Dasgupta and more, the film is a story of hope, of those who still believe in relationships and bonds that stay invested in faith, transcend time. It is a story of two families hailing from completely different backgrounds. The warmth gets infused not just between two individuals but permeates through two families. Eta Amader Golpo is directed by Manasi Sinha.
“We have had massive turnouts and houseful shows. After watching the film it was really exhilarating to see the expressions of joy. We are overwhelmed by the audience response. My school friends watched it in a big group. They all heartily congratulated us. We are extremely happy to witness first-hand, the excitement and positive response from audiences during our hall visits too,” said Aparajita Adhya.
“The reaction that we saw at the premiere was that of exuberance and excitement. Our entire team has toiled very hard with integrity and honesty. The fact that there has been such an overwhelming outpouring of affection for my debut film as a director has been deeply gratifying. Strangers have come forth and cried on my shoulders feeling deeply touched by the film,” said Manasi Sinha.
“I had predicted and announced during the trailer launch, that audiences will turn out in large numbers and queue up for this film, despite the intolerable heat and humidity. As a new producer, I’m truly overjoyed that the prediction stands true today. And how! On our social media page of Dhagaa Production, one can see the spontaneous emotional audience interactions across multiple halls. Several members wept openly as many could relate to the deep sensitivity of the storyline. The overwhelming turnout and the repeated houseful shows in multiplexes and standalone cinema halls have given a very strong validation to our convictions,” said Suvankar Mitra.
