Team Benudar Tension recently got together for the premiere of the KLIKK mini-series. Benudar Tension follows Benuchanda, a government employee who is a resident of Naihati. Hailing from a well-to-do family, his only family member is his wife Monalisa. Benuchanda is the sole heir to his father’s house after the demise of both his parents. In a seemingly happy life, the only problem Benu has is ‘tension’. He doesn’t harbour any tension about anything!

Hence, Benu starts off on his quest to find tension, which leads to some hilarious incidents. In the meantime, Naihati experiences a series of murders. Benudar Tension stars Drronn Mukherjee, Mishor Bose, Amitabh Chatterjee, Rajdeep Sarkar and others.

“I always try to curate unique arcs, be it as a writer or as an actor. Benudar Tension creates that difference. This is my second mini-series where I’m working again with director Surajit (Saheb) Mukherjee after Kalo Sada Abchha. Thanks to KLIKK, it’s indeed a privilege to be a key member in two consecutive mini-series. They are always open to challenging subjects and launching fresh talent and formats in the industry. The series throws up myriad moments of intrigue, revolving around ‘tension',” says Amlan Majumdar, story, script and dialogue writer.
