Athhoi’s story, which is inspired by the classic Shakespearean tragedy Othello, is based on themes of loyalty, jealousy, betrayal and revenge. Directed by Arna Mukhopadhyay, the film stars Anirban Bhattacharya, Sohini Sarkar and Arna. The team recently got together for the premiere of the film at INOX, Quest mall. Anirban Bhattacharya plays the antagonist Gogo, a shrewd, cunning and vengeful person, who, under the guise of friendship, destroys the lives of his friend Athhoi and his wife Diyamona (Sohini). The film also stars Ditipriya Roy, Arpan Ghoshal, Koushik Banerjee, and Mimi Dutta.
