Trina Saha launched her vibrant music video Bum bum diga diga at Scrapyard in South City Mall recently. The song, sung by Susmita Dey, has been composed by Ishan Mitra and can be streamed on Saregama Bengali on YouTube. There’s an interesting twist in the video, where Trina appears as the bride-to-be, donning an eclectic Bengali sari with laal paar, among other vibrant colours but is unwilling to undergo a transformation as a bride and taking on the duties of life post-marriage. The song set the festive mood right at the event! The video concludes with a mysterious scene, where Trina bumps into somebody who seems to be the groom. The music video unveiled a cool story with a hint that it will be continued.

The event also saw a unique fashion show where models donned the festive collection from Cloture India, Trina’s label that launched its website on the same day for people who prefer online shopping. The festive collection includes saris that have a touch of our heritage, blended with modern chic. “It’s my first production with Saregama, so I was really excited about this project. The clothes that you see in the music video are from my brand Kloth. It’s a song I have been waiting for a very long time, I manifested it and it finally happened. Cloture is a collaboration between Kloth and Couture, and for all the people who want to do online shopping. Cloture is an extension of Kloth, which just turned one. The website is backed by my childhood friend Anneysa and me,” said Trina Saha. “Shooting the music video was a lot of fun, but I was also very nervous as it was my first production. Doing a production for the first time can be very nerve-wracking. The people I worked with were my friends, Ishan the composer is a great friend, Susmita is close to me, and Saregama has been close to my heart. The shooting environment was a lot of fun and we all had a great time,” she added.
