Tollywood actors Gaurav Chakrabarty and Ridhima Ghosh, who welcomed their first-born, Dheer, on September 16, 2023, took to social media to introduce him to the world.
The social media debut of little Dheer happened on the occasion of his rice ceremony (annaprasan) on Wednesday. Gaurav and Ridhima jointly posted moments from the event on Instagram. “Dheer is here to say a little hello to you!” wrote the proud parents.
Dheer looked adorable in an off-white dhoti-kurta set with a red border, twinning with his father, while his mom complimented them in a red Dhakai sari and a red-bordered off-white blouse.
The couple had announced their pregnancy on social media last Bengali New Year. “A grand adventure is about to begin… On this auspicious day of Poila Boishakh, we are so glad to let you know that we are expecting a baby! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers,” the duo had written. They have since shared snapshots of their baby shower and pregnancy journey.
After Dheer’s birth, Gaurav and Ridhima have posted occasional sneak peeks of their son without revealing his face. Yesterday was the first time Dheer’s family portrait was posted on Instagram. No wonder Gaurav and Ridhima’s little wonder has already got 37,000 likes and counting.
