Killers of the Flower Moon (English)

Killers of the Flower Moon draws its inspiration from David Grann's 2017 book of the same name that revolves around killings that took place in the Osage Nation of Oklahoma during the 1920s — a dark chapter in history that unfolded in the wake of the discovery of oil on tribal lands. In the early 1900s, the Osage Nation witnessed a sudden surge in wealth due to the oil boom, propelling its members to become some of the world's wealthiest individuals virtually overnight. This newfound prosperity drew the attention of opportunistic outsiders who resorted to manipulation, extortion and theft, ultimately culminating in a series of brutal murders.
