Late actor Chadwick Boseman and actresses Gal Gadot and Michelle Yeoh are among the celebrities who have been selected to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2024, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced.
Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige and actor Chris Pine, who recently appeared in Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves, also feature in the class of 2024.
“A new group of entertainment professionals in the categories of Motion Pictures, Television, Live Theatre/Live Performance, Radio, Recording, and Sports Entertainment have been selected to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by the Walk of Fame Selection Panel of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce,” the non-profit body, consisting of representatives from a spectrum of organisations and businesses around Hollywood, wrote on Instagram.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame, a historic landmark, consists of stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard in California. It was built in 1957 when the first class of honourees were selected by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
The Wonder Woman actress took to Instagram on Monday to post a video in which she says she has just been informed that she’s getting a star on the coveted Hollywood Walk of Fame. She got the news from her husband in the middle of promotions for the upcoming Netflix action thriller film Heart of Stone.
Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman’s Instagram page also posted a picture of the announcement as a story with the caption, “We are so proud of you, You deserve this!”

Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh, the only South-Asian actress to make it to the class of 2024, recently won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once.
The list also includes veteran Canadian actor Eugene Levyknown for the Emmy Award-winning Netflix show Schitt’s Creek and Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere actress Kerry Washington.
