Gagan Dev Riar’s Telgi is an evil genius resolved to expose the corrupt politicians and police officers who were in collusion with him during the execution of the notorious stamp paper scam in SonyLIV’s Scam 2003: The Telgi Story Vol II trailer.
Dropped by the streamer on Wednesday, the trailer begins by showcasing how Telgi’s outrageous financial scam got revealed, tracing the former fruit-seller’s ingenious plotting behind the scam for the sequel to Scam 2003 released in September. It goes on to show how Telgi outwits the scheming police and politicians by recording their voices on tape. At the very end of the trailer, we see him lying in a half-conscious state on a bed in hospital clothes as two nurses try to make him reveal the name of a politician who was involved in his scam.
The first part of Scam 2003, which came out in September, showed how Telgi got exposed after spending all his money on a bar dancer in the course of a single night. The upcoming sequel will further unravel the scam by delving deeper into its planning and its execution.
Directed by Tushar Hiranandani and created by Hansal Mehta, Scam 2003: The Telgi Story Vol II will arrive on SonyLIV on November 3.
