Fukrey 3 has emerged as the top earner among the films released last week by comfortably beating Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War and Kangana Ranaut-starrer Chandramukhi 2 with a total collection of Rs 66.15 crore nett after a seven-day run in theatres.
The latest instalment of the comedy drama film series helmed byMrighdeep Singh Lamba features Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Manjot Singh and Richa Chadha in key roles.
Fukrey 3 registered an opening day collection of Rs 8.82 crore nett on Thursday, followed by Rs 7.81 crore nett on Friday. It minted Rs 26.85 crore nett over the weekend and passed the Monday test with earnings worth Rs 11.69 crore nett. The comedy drama went on to earn Rs 4.11 crore nett on Tuesday and Rs 3.62 crore nett on Wednesday. It ended the first week raking in Rs 3.25 crore nett on Thursday.
Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War turned out to be a dud at the box office as it could only earn Rs 8.59 crore nett in eight days. Kangana Ranaut-starrer Chandramukhi 2, on the other hand, minted Rs 34.55 crore nett in all languages, out of which the major share came from earnings in the Tamil and Telugu versions (approximately Rs 33.75 crore nett).
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has minted approximately Rs 619 crore nett domestically at the end of its fourth week in theatres. The Atlee-helmed actioner, also featuring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles, has minted Rs 1104 crore gross globally so far.
