ROARING IN RED: Selena Gomez went home with the moon man and there was no way her fans could Calm Down because she looked riveting in red! Wearing a stunning beaded Oscar de la Renta outfit with floral halter neck, the red-hot number accentuated her curves and the floral fringes hung loose around her legs like vines, giving an interesting touch. Her raven hair was done in a sleek way, makeup nude and mismatched diamond butterfly earrings completed her OOTN!

(From left) Taylor Swift walked in at The MTV Video Music Awards held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey like the queen that she is, wearing a sleek Versace black number with golden buttons, thighhigh slit, asymmetric neckline and black strappy heels. She beautifully mixed gold and diamond pieces around her neck, something most refrain from but Tay showed how it’s done! Sporting her staple fringe, black winged eyes, Swift ruled on and off the pink carpet as she walked away with nine VMAs including Video of the Year for Anti-Hero.

Anitta’s black Schiaparelli number is a hit-miss for many. While many disapproved her look with mismatched earrings, we give a thumbs up to the unusual red-carpet look in black that featured a semi-sheer midriffbaring outfit. The opera gloves and the thick headband lent some old-school vibes.

Is that an armour or the Iron Throne? Cardi B’s custom Dilara Findikoglu offshoulder gown was a work of art made with thousands of hair clips! Yes! She had matchy cuffs, wore her hair straight and flaunted her metallic talons.

Olivia Rodrigo might not have bagged Best Cinematography award at the VMAs this year but the Deja Vu singer shocked everyone (read Selena Gomez) with her Vampire performance and dazzled on the pink carpet when she struck a pose wearing a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin gown studded with over 150,000 Swarovski crystals! A deep neckline and back, dewy fresh makeup and poise on the red carpet is not easy to pull off for a 20-year-old but she did and how!

(From left) There was no missing Shakira from afar as the Latin singer’s Atelier Versace number made her look as if she was dripping in gold. The singer who bagged the prestigious Video Vanguard Award, proved age is just a number, looking stunning in the backless gown. We loved how she kept her signature curly locks loose that made us go ‘Shakira! Shakira!’

Nicki Minaj who won a record fifth award for best hiphop for Super Freaky Girl chanelled Barbicore vibes in a corset-gown with a matchy veil. The Dolce & Gabbana lacy number was complemented with pink glitter eyeshadow and pink lips.

Megan Thee Stallion lent a classy touch to the visible underwear trend via her Brandon Blackwood sheer dress. The strapless outfit scores big on fit and the vertical lines faked corset feels. The diamond choker, ring and bracelet were smart jewellery choices.
