Actress-filmmaker Courteney Cox has become the latest celebrity to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the event turned into a special Friends reunion with Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow in attendance.
Jennifer Aniston took to Instagram to post an image of the three during the ceremony held on Hollywood Boulevard, Vine St, Los Angeles. “Very proud of our girl @courteneycoxofficial today. I love these women with literally every ounce of my heart and soul ❤️ @lisakudrow and I were on a cloud being able to celebrate her and her incredible achievements ⭐️,” she wrote in the caption.
Cox gained international recognition playing Monica Geller on the American sitcom Friends, which began in 1995 and lasted 10 seasons, alongside Aniston as Rachel Greene and Kudrow as Phoebe. The Emmy-winning show also featured Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer in lead roles.
The 58-year-old actress also starred in the horror film franchise Scream as Gale Weathers and American sitcom Cougar Town as Jules Cobb. In 2021, she joined her former Friends co-stars for a reunion special, which received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Variety Special.
