A forlorn bed lies on one side of a flyover. A lamp stands beside it. Vehicles zip by. A car comes to a halt. Bikes take U-turns. A body falls from the sky and smashes against the windscreen of a car, leaving behind a trail of blood.

A flurry of activities takes place on a busy flyover from dusk till dawn which increases the level of suspense and deepens the intrigue in the trailer of the film Flyover, starring Koel Mallick, Gaurav Chakrabarty. The film releases on April 2.

“The feedback is great, and that speaks a lot about people’s curiosity surrounding the film. I play Bidisha, a journalist. She is writing an article and the film’s plot involves a few accidents that are happening on a flyover... Bidisha’s article is on traffic rule violations on a flyover. She gets drawn into an investigation. My character is very determined, brave, headstrong. People try to hush her up so that she doesn’t write the article but she goes against all odds to do it,” says Koel.

Gaurav Chakrabarty plays inspector Amit Sen. “He is a police officer who trusts Bidisha when she gets embroiled in a murder case and helps her solve the mystery. I just watched the trailer. It’s very engaging. It says a lot without saying too much,” says Gaurav. Directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee, Flyover is an official remake of the film U-Turn.
