The new Hoichoi series Rajneeti, stars Kaushik Ganguly, Arjun Chakrabarty, Koneenica Banerjee and Ditipriya Roy. Directed by Sourav Chakraborty, Rajneeti, which revolves around a political family, is the journey of a young girl Rashi, who is recovering from a state of coma after meeting with a fatal car accident. She has lost her long-term memory since the accident and struggles to remember her past. During the process of her recovery, she slowly discovers the secrets of the household, the conspiracies, and the true intentions of her near and dear ones.

Kaushik Ganguly plays the character of Rathin Banerjee in Rajneeti. “It was a thrilling experience to be directing a celebrated director like Kaushik Ganguly. He has been very flexible throughout the shoot and has done a wonderful job. Ditipriya Roy has played the character of Rashi Banerjee and always surprises me with the maturity that she brings with her performance. Konineeca Banerjee, another seasoned actor, played the character of Rahsi’s mother Mallika Banerjee. Arjun Chakrabarty will be seen playing the character of Shaunak Sen. We will also see Shyamal Chakraborty in a very important character,” says Sourav.

The story begins with a road accident of Rashi Banerjee, the daughter of a powerful MP, Rathin Banerjee. As she gets introduced to everything, she confronts multiple questions.

Koneenica makes her web debut with Rajneeti, playing a loving and caring mother. “I had a great experience shooting for this series. I also got to learn a lot from actor Kaushik Ganguly. The storyline is really intriguing, and engaging and it keeps one guessing what happens next in the show,” says Koneenica.
