Rajesh Sharma, Debleena Dutt, Judhajit Sarkar and Gaurav Mullick star in the new KLIKK series NH6. The story revolves around the road trip taken by a real estate entrepreneur Bob and his wife Nimisha. This is Bob’s first journey to his in-laws. Trouble begins when their car breaks down on a deserted highway. Bob calls for a tow truck for help. An individual travelling on that highway offers to help the distraught couple. Bob invests his trust in this person and requests him to help them and accompany his wife to the nearest petrol pump, where she could use the restroom. She hitches a ride with him and they drive off to the next petrol pump.

Mysteriously, Nimisha disappears from here on. A distraught Bob desperately turns to the local police for help. But they too find his narrative incredulous, as there seems to be no proof that his wife was accompanying him on that trip. The person who had helped them on the highway too denies having seen any woman with Bob.
Tension mounts in the narrative and the police begin to suspect whether there was ever any existence of this missing woman Nimisha. They conjecture that all of this might just be a story fabricated by Bob. The plot thickens when Bob gets a call from a person claiming to have kidnapped Nimisha and demands a hefty ransom. Matters turn further complicated and the law enforcers start a frenetic quest for nabbing the guilty. As the story progresses, there emerges the existence of a cunning mastermind.
Produced and directed by Jon Halder, NH6 will be streaming exclusively on KLIKK.
“Jon and I are contemporaries and I quite love his direction. He’s a rare skipper who has not only a rather practical way of directing but surprisingly, one who insists on workshops, which is seldom done here. Having Judhajit as a co-actor is a plus, as he is one of the finest performers of his generation. I knew he would do justice to his role and we had a lot of fun pulling it off as an on-screen couple. Rajesh Sharma is like the cherry on the ice cream, being everyone’s favourite. The outdoor shoot mood was that of a very productive holiday that created a fantastic series. This is my second series with KLIKK and both have been predominantly outdoors. The first being in the freezing cold of Kalimpong and Delo and this, in the hot and humid Jharkhand. The folks at KLIKK ensure that the environs are very friendly and comfortable. Much like a family. The whole experience was rather refreshing and rejuvenating,” said Debleena.
“I have a long-standing relationship with Jharkhand and I’d wanted to shoot there for the longest time. I’m indeed lucky to have got this opportunity to film in lovely outdoor locations like Jadugora, Bota, Dhobli and Chimti with such talented actors and a young and hard-working unit,” said Jon.
“We shot in extremely difficult humid conditions in Jharkhand. Since the narrative is based on a highway, it was a gruelling challenge for the entire team to shoot in real locations. We were lucky to get cooperation from the local authorities. Our director, Jon Haldar and screenplay writer Sanjay Bhattacharya were the constant source of energy for the entire team. They pushed us to give our best. It has always been a pleasure working with Debleena Dutt. This is my second project with her and I must confess that I’m extremely fortunate to have a senior like her around. There is so much to learn from her. Also, I was extremely fortunate to have got the opportunity to work with a veteran like Rajesh Sharma. I’m blessed to have such accomplished senior co-actors. Our cinematographer, Anir, was brilliant too. He shines out at every outing. This is my fourth project with KLIKK and I feel extremely happy for the strong family-like bond we share,” said Judhajit Sarkar.
