Sherlock Holmes’ adventurous and spunky sister, Enola Holmes, is going to be back on Netflix on November 4. Netflix has released the first-look images of the Enola Holmes sequel, starring Millie Bobby Brown as the young detective Enola who can give her more famous brother a run for his money.
The working title of the film is Enola Holmes 2 and it will repeat Henry Cavill as Sherlock, Sam Claflin as elder brother Mycroft and Helena Bonham Carter as their mother Eudoria. The new film will have newcomers Hannah Dodd, Adeel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster and David Thewlis, among others.
In the first look images, we get a glimpse of the newest adventure of the youngest of the extremely gifted Holmes siblings. Enola is seen in handcuffs in one image and along with his brother Sherlock in another. There is also another image of Enola with her mother.
Earlier, Millie Bobby Brown had shared a poster of Enola Holmes 2 on her Instagram handle with an ominous caption, “Tis who? 👀 🔍.”
Among the crowd of people, a few of the key figures can be spotted staring into the distance in the poster, including Cavill’s Sherlock and Bobby Brown’s Enola who’s smiling at the camera.
Harry Bradbeer, who had directed Enola Holmes, is back helming the second film from a screenplay by Jack Thorne, based on the young adult fiction series of the same name by Nancy Springer.
The first Enola Holmes film was released on September 23, 2020, on Netflix and it went on to become one of the most-watched original Netflix films worldwide.
While Bobby Brown has been wowing us as Eleven in Stranger Things, it’s her turn as Enola in the next film that has us counting down to November 4.
