Anil Kapoor on Friday shared the first poster of his upcoming action drama Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. The film is touted to be India’s first aerial action drama and is going to be directed by Siddharth Anand.
On his social media with the release date, Anil Kapoor shared the photo of a fighter jet with the caption “All systems go! #FIGHTER is cleared for take-off on 25th January, 2024! Hold on to your seats and don’t let go!”
Fighter is set to release on January 25, 2024.
Yashoda
Telugu star Samantha Ruth Prabhu-starrer Yashoda’s trailer has come out. Directed by Haresh Narayan and Hari Shankar, the movie also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru and Madhurima.
The trailer gives out the vibe of a science fiction thriller as we get to see various chaotic incidents from Yashoda’s life. We see pregnant Yashoda in a hospital — it is clear that her action-packed life has got something to do with her unborn child. Mani Sharma scored the music for the film.
Yashoda will arrive in cinemas on November 11.
Khakee: The Bihar Chapter
The teaser of the upcoming Netflix crime drama series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, created by Neeraj Pandey, has come out. Produced by Friday Storytellers, it stars Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwary, Ashutosh Rana, Ravi Kishan, Anup Soni, Jatin Sarna, Nikita Dutta, Abhimanyu Singh, Aishwarya Sushmita and Shraddha Das.
The teaser opens with a voiceover that takes us back to the time when Bihar had the highest crime rate in the country and also the lowest conviction rate. Over the next minute, we see policemen on the trail of violent criminals, shootouts, political machinations and other troubles. We also see a bunch of cops and criminals going against each other in the retro-looking teaser.
The Pale Blue Eye
Netflix has dropped the teaser of its upcoming American gothic horror mystery film The Pale Blue Eye. Written and directed by Scott Cooper, adapted from the 2006 novel of the same name by Louis Bayard, the feature stars Christian Bale and Harry Melling. It also features Gillian Anderson, Lucy Boynton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Toby Jones, Harry Lawtey, Simon McBurney, Timothy Spall and Robert Duvall.
The synopsis reads, “West Point, 1830. A world-weary detective is hired to discreetly investigate the gruesome murder of a cadet. Stymied by the cadets’ code of silence, he enlists one of their own to help unravel the case — a young man the world would come to know as Edgar Allan Poe.”
The Pale Blue Eye will arrive on Netflix on January 6.
Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich
The trailer of Netflix’s true crime documentary film Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich revolves around disgraced former British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell. It is a follow-up to the documentary Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, directed by Lisa Bryant, who is also helming the Maxwell film.
The official synopsis reads, “Discover the monster behind the monster. From filmmakers behind Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich go beyond the headlines of the Ghislaine Maxwell case to tell the definitive story of Epstein's mysterious accomplice, illuminating how her class and privilege concealed her predatory nature.”
Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich will be streaming on Netflix on November 25.
