Patriotism is taken to the dizzy heights as Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s steamy liplock dissolves into daring jet stunts against the backdrop of the Tricolour in the teaser of Siddharth Anand’s aerial action thriller Fighter, dropped by Viacom18 Studios on Friday.

The one-minute-13-second-long teaser introduces squadron leaders Patty (Hrithik) and Minni (Deepika) alongside Anil Kapoor’s group captain Rocky and Karan Singh Grover’s character. The Air Force officers get involved in some intense aerial action scenes as they chase enemy jets through the clouds in a thrilling fashion.

Besides the jet stunts, we see intimate moments shared between Patty and Minni in the video, which also teases an exciting dance performance before cutting to a nail-biting scene of Hrithik getting involved in a fight mid-air with an enemy fighter jet. The teaser ends with Hrithik unfurling the Tricolour from his jet with the Vande Mataram song playing in the background.

After the immense success of his Pathaan at the beginning of the year, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, Siddharth Anand is coming up with Fighter, set to hit theatres on January 25, 2024, one day ahead of Republic Day. The film is coming out exactly one year after the release of Pathaan and marks Deepika’s second collaboration with Siddharth Anand.

Fighter will also mark Hrithik’s second film with the director after their 2019 film War, which also starred Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor.
