Adam Driver’s Enzo Ferrari desperately seeks redemption as he deals with loss and trouble on both personal and professional fronts in the trailer of Michael Mann-helmed biographical sports drama film Ferrari.
Dropped by NEON on Wednesday, the two-minute-26-second-long showcases Enzo’s rise even as he continues to battle bankruptcy and personal issues. It throws light on Enzo’s rocky married life, showing the motorsport legend’s soured relationship with his wife (Penélope Cruz) , his way of dealing with his son’s death and his sharing a child with a much younger mistress (Shailene Woodley).
Torn between two women and their children, Enzo still wants to save his company and his only hope at professional redemption lies in Mille Miglia, a gruelling 1000-mile race across Italy that has the potential to reestablish his company. For that he must come up with the fastest car he can make — Ferrari.
Directed by Michael Mann and written by Troy Kennedy Martin, Ferrari will hit theatres during Christmas this year.
