Adam Driver portrays motorsport legend Enzo Ferrari, tracing the intense world of car racing amid in the trailer of filmmaker Michael Mann’s ambitious biographical sports drama film Ferrari.
Dropped by NEON on Wednesday evening, the one-minute-30-second-long teaser begins with a car-racing scene that introduces Enzo whose life revolves around his family and work. The clip shows how his company — Ferrari — is built out of crisis when Enzo goes bankrupt and his business fails.
The video also sheds light on Enzo's turbulent personal life. He deals with the death of his son and has a strained relationship with his wife (Penelope Cruz). He is also in two minds about acknowledging his illegitimate son whom he had with his mistress (Shailene Woodley).
The teaser has glimpses of the 1,000-mile race and also shows Enzo telling his drivers, “If you get into one of my cars… you get in to win.” The clip promises to take us to the early era of motor sports where things were a lot different.

Helmed by Heat director Michael Mann, the film also stars Sarah Gadon, Gabriel Leone, Jack O'Connell and Patrick Dempsey.
Ferrari is selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, where it is set to premiere on August 31. It is scheduled to be released in the cinemas on December 25.
