Filmmaker Sandip Ray is ready to share with us his next Feluda adventure, Nayan Rahasya, after Hatyapuri last winter. With Nayan Rahasya hitting the theatres on May 10 — a summer release for a Feluda film by Sandip Ray — we bring you snapshots from the sets.
The trio of Indraneil Sengupta (centre), Abhijit Guha (right) and Ayush Das in a scene as Feluda, Jatayu and Topshe. ‘We are looking forward to the release of Nayan Rahasya with a mix of anxiety, excitement and happiness,’ said Indraneil.
‘Nayan Rahasya was chosen after Hatyapuri because of Avinaba Barua. He was in Hatyapuri and I thought he would be the right person to portray Nayan,’ said director Sandip Ray, seen behind the camera.
Avinaba Barua (right) plays Nayan, a young boy with an exceptional numerical ability, and the plot revolves around his mysterious disappearance.
Feluda deep in conversation with his cousin and assistant Topshe. ‘We shot the film last year, in Chennai and Kolkata,’ said Ayush, who plays Topshe.
Supriya Dutta, dressed in an orange jacket, plays a collector of animals and people with special attributes. He wants to make Nayan one of his prized collections.
Mohan Agashe (far right) plays Hingorani, who meets Feluda, Jatayu and Topshe and asks for Feluda’s protection as he feels his life is in danger.
