Directed by Debraj Sinha, Felubakshi stars Soham Chakraborty in the titular role, as a modern, tech-savvy sleuth. Bangladeshi actress Pori Moni makes her Tollywood debut with the film, which also features Madhumita Sarcar, Sataf Figar and Srijit Ayushman Sarkar in key roles.

Produced by Himani Films in association with Medianext Entertainment, Felubakshi features Sudipta Majumdar as the cinematographer with music by Aditi Basu and Amlan Chakraborty.

Soham was last seen as an activist fighting superstitions in Pathikrit Basu’s Shastri, which featured Mithun Chakraborty in the lead role. Madhumita’s last big screen release was Surjo where she played a photojournalist opposite Vikram Chatterjee.

Omor Shongi: A love story

Directed by Dibya Chatterjee, Omor Shongi brings Vikram Chatterjee and Sohini Sarkar together on the big screen for the first time. Produced by Dreams On Cell with co-production by Handicraft Pictures, the film is named after Sujit Guha’s iconic 1987 romantic drama starring Prosenjit Chatterjee and Vijayta Pandit.

The official poster of the film, shared by Vikram on social media, features him in a warm embrace with Sohini. This romantic drama is releasing on the occasion of Saraswati Puja.

Vikram began shooting for his upcoming film Raas in November, while Sohini was last seen in Arna Mukhopadhyay’s Atthoi.
