Fast X

Universal Pictures dropped a new trailer from its upcoming film Fast X on Thursday. Directed by Louis Leterrier and written by Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau, it is the 10th instalment of the Fast & Furious film series. The film stars Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Jason Momoa, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena, Brie Larson, Helen Mirren, Rita Moreno and Charlize Theron.

In the two-minute-35-second-long trailer, Vin Diesel’s Dom is vulnerable about the safety of his son because Momoa’s motorcycle-riding baddie Dante wants revenge on him. The video also shows Charlize Theron’s supervillain Cipher implying she is the mastermind behind the plot. Filled with glimpses of action-packed sequences, the clip promises an exhilarating end to the saga.

Fast X will hit the theatres on May 19.

Afwaah

T-Series dropped the official trailer of its upcoming drama film Afwaah on Wednesday. Directed by Sudhir Mishra and produced by Anubhav Sinha, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bhumi Pednekar, Sumeet Vyas, Sharib Hashmi, Sumit Kaul, TJ Bhanu, Rockey Raina and Eisha Chopra.

The two-minute-30-second-long trailer shows top advertising professional Rahab (Nawazuddin) and political heiress Nivi (Bhumi) looking for a place to hide. They duo get entangled in a vicious rumour created by the social media machinery of d Nivi’s fiance Vicky Banna (Sumit).

Afwaah will arrive in cinemas on May 5.

Insidious- The Red Door

Sony Pictures Entertainment released the official trailer of its upcoming American supernatural horror film Insidious- The Red Door on Wednesday late night. Directed by Patrick Wilson from a screenplay by Scott Teems, the film is a direct sequel to Insidious (2010) and Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013). It stars Ty Simpkins, Patrick Wilson, Hiam Abbass, Sinclair Daniel, Andrew Astor and Rose Byrne.

The two-minute-39-second-long trailer shows Josh (Patrick Wilson) and now grown-up Dalton (Ty Simpkins) going deeper into facing their family’s dark past. A host of new and more horrifying terrors lurk behind the red door.

Insidious: The Red Door opens in theatres on July 7.

Thrishanku

Think Music India unveiled the teaser of its upcoming Malayalam-language romantic comedy film Thrishanku on Wednesday. Written and directed by Achyuth Vinayak, it stars Anna Benn, Arjun Ashokan, Suresh Krishna, Zarin Shihab, Nandhu, Fahim Safar and Shiva Hariharan.

The one-minute-nine-second-long teaser shows Arjun Ashokan’s and Anna Benn’s characters planning to elope to get married. The clip also shows some glimpses of their hilariously troublesome journey.
