Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan Kunder has shared her secret yakhni pulao recipe on her new YouTube channel which she launched on Monday.

“After much persuasion, (I) have started my YouTube channel finally!! All about food, friends n fun!! Give it a shot. Link in bio,” the Om Shanti Om director wrote alongside a highlights reel of the video on Instagram.

Sporting a black full-sleeve kurta with white geometric prints, Farah begins her video by telling her viewers that she is going to share her secret recipe which she has shared with noone except Shilpa Shetty. “Shilpa, tu bohot paisa kama rahi hai mera yakhni pulao bana bana ke (Shilpa, you’re earning a lot of money by making the yakhni pulao I taught you and feeding it to others),” she says sarcastically in the video.

Farah is seen cooking the pulao with her domestic helps. She asks her fans hilariously to command their husband or son to chop vegetables and prepare the chicken for them to cook the pulao with ease. After her house helps chop onions, Farah cuts chillies and grinds them along with spices in a mixer. Once the pulao is ready, she serves it to all her house helps who appreciate her cooking. However, one of them says, “Mazaa nahi aaya,” which comes as a shock to Farah.

“Hey everyone, Welcome to my very first vlog! Today's vlog is all about my special yakhni pulao recipe. Get ready to join me in the kitchen as I share all the steps to make this delicious dish from scratch,” Farah wrote in the description of the video on her YouTube channel.

Crew producer Ekta R Kapoor commented, “This is sooooooo funny,” while Bhavana Pandey could not stop laughing at her house help’s reaction at the end of the video. “Gosh the response from Dileep and the background music was the icing on the cake,” a fan wrote.

As an actress, Farah last appeared in Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan in a cameo alongside Supriya Pathak, Kirti Kulhari and Flora Saini. She also recently choreographed the music video of Arijit Singh’s Chaleya from Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan.
