Fair Play

Netflix dropped the official trailer of its upcoming American erotic thriller film Fair Play. Written and directed by Chloe Domont, it stars Alden Ehrenreich and Phoebe Dynevor in lead roles alongside Sebastian de Souza, Eddie Marsan and Rich Sommer.

In the two-minute-47-second-long trailer, we follow a young couple who both work for the same hedge fund. With time Phoebe Dynevor’s character gets an unexpected promotion which should have gone to Alden Ehrenreich’s character. Things become extremely toxic between the two and the clip even hints at bloodshed.

Fair Play will be streaming on Netflix from October 15.

Sitting in Bars with Cake

Amazon Prime Video released the trailer for its upcoming film Sitting in Bars with Cake on Tuesday. Directed by Trish Sie, the film features Yara Shahidi and Odessa A’zion in lead roles.

The two-minute-31-second-long trailer shows an extrovert, Corinne (Odessa A’zion), convincing her shy home baker best friend, Jane (Yara Shahidi), to commit to a year of baking cakes and bringing them to bars, with the goal of meeting people and developing confidence.

Sitting in Bars with Cake will arrive on Prime Video on September 8.

Goldfish

Splendid Films recently released the trailer of their internationally acclaimed film Goldfish. Directed by Pushan Kripalani, the film stars Kalki Koechlin, Deepti Naval and Rajit Kapur in lead roles.

The two-minute-16-second-long trailer gives a look into the world of an Indian mother-daughter duo living in a foreign land. It focuses on Anamika (Kalki Koechlin) and her mother Sadhana's (Deepti Naval) relationship and how they navigate through their bittersweet relationship.

Goldfish is all set to release in India on August 25.

A day and a half

Netflix unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming Swedish-language thriller film A day and a half on Tuesday. Written and directed by Swedish-Lebanese director Farese Farese, it stars Alexej Manvelov, Alma Pöysti) and Farese Farese in lead roles.

The one-minute-42-second-long trailer shows a man named Artan (Alexej Manvelov) taking his ex-wife Louise (Alma Pöysti) hostage and embarking on a road trip with police officer Lukas (Fares Fares) as the driver to reunite with his daughter. Lukas is there to stop emotionally unstable Artan from causing any harm to anyone.

A day and a half will be streaming on Netflix from September 1.
