Sylvester Stallone’s Barney Ross is back for the final time with his band of elite mercenaries — known as the Expendables — to stop a terrorist organisation from triggering a nuclear warfare between Russia and the US in the action-packed Expendables 4 trailer, dropped by Lionsgate Movies on June 7.
In the two-minute-11-second-long trailer, we see knife expert Lee (Jason Statham) and his girlfriend Gina (Megan Fox) get into a playful fight before Barney shows up. Ross tells Lee to join the team again to stop a terrorist organisation smuggling nuclear warheads. We are then introduced to the entire team as they prepare for their mission. The video shows inner tension and banter between the teammates as they prepare for their deadliest mission to date. Indonesian actor Iko Uwais is playing the antagonist in the film.
Lionsgate took to Twitter to share the trailer on June 8. “It's time for some new blood. watch the official trailer for #Expend4bles – only in cinemas September 22,” it wrote in the caption.
