Evil Dead Rise

Studiocanal UK on Monday dropped the official trailer for the upcoming horror film Evil Dead Rise. Written and directed by Lee Cronin, the film is part of the iconic Evil Dead franchise. It stars Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols and Nell Fisher.

The two-minute-23-second-long trailer shows a twisted tale of two estranged sisters whose reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious book in a Los Angeles apartment. It gives rise to demons and lands the siblings in a battle for survival.

Evil Dead Rise will arrive in cinemas on April 21.

Corona Papers

Aashirvad Cinemas on Sunday shared the official trailer of its upcoming Malayalam-language thriller film Corona Papers. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film stars Shane Nigam, Shine Tom Chacko, Sidhique, Jean Lal, Gayathrie Shankar, Sandhya Shetty, Maniyanpilla Raju, Vijilesh, PP Kunhikrishnan and Hannah Reji Koshy.

The one-minute-49-second-long trailer introduces the main characters of the film. The trailer shows a mystery which the police are trying to solve. The video shows a young police officer investigating a suspected murder and gathering evidence, while another character is trying hard to sabotage the investigation.

Romancham

DisneyPlus Hotstar Malayalam released the official trailer of its upcoming Malayalam-language horror comedy film Romancham on Sunday late night. Written and directed by Jithu Madhavan, the film stars Soubin Shahir, Arjun Asokan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sajin Gopu, Siju Sunny, Afzal P H, Abin Bino, Jagadeesh Kumar, Anantharaman Ajay, Joemon Jyothir and Sreejith Nair.

The one-minute-43-second-long trailer shows a group of goofy friends trying to talk to a ghost and drawing some kind of patterns on a carrom board to perform dark rituals. Things go wrong when they encounter a real ghost.

Romancham will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar from April 7.
