Eminem’s new single Tobey, featuring Big Sean and Babytron, from his upcoming album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) will drop on July 2, the rapper announced on Friday, dropping a teaser of the music video that will release a couple of days later.

While the song will drop on July 2, the music video directed by Cole Bennett is slated to release on July 5.

In the teaser, Eminem sports a hockey mask and wields a chainsaw similar to the ones he used during his Anger Management tour in 2000. Rappers Big Sean and Babytron stand behind him. The clip also teases the lyrics, which hint at the song being a reference to 2002’s Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire.

“TOBEY. @_babytron. @BigSean. New music 7/2 video 7/5 by @_ColeBennett_,” the 51-year-old American artiste wrote on X alongside a teaser.

Fans flooded the comments section with their excitement for the upcoming song. “Another 10/10 beat it seems, drop the album,” one of them wrote, while another commented, “THE BEAT SOUNDS MENTAL.”

Eminem’s lead single Houdini, a nod to his 2002 single Without Me, from the upcoming album came out on May 31. Following its release, Houdini went on to reach the second spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Eminem had announced The Death of Slim Shady during the NFL Draft in April with a teaser, hinting that the project would revolve around the demise of his iconic alter ego. The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace) is slated to release in summer this year.
