The fourth season of romantic comedy-drama series Emily in Paris starring Lily Collins in the titular role will release on Netflix in two instalments — Part I on August 15 and Part II on September 12. The streamer made this announcement on Friday alongside a video of the cast.

"Ooh la la! EMILY IN PARIS season 4 part 1 premieres on august 15 and part 2 on september 12," wrote Netflix alongside the video that challenges cast members to describe the upcoming season of the Darren Star-created show in three words.

“Vulnerable,” Collins says in the video, later adding that it is also “adventurous”. Her co-star Ashley Park (Mindy Chen) describes Season 4 as “Not finished yet". Camille Razat (who plays Emily’s friend Camille) opts for “messy”, while Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Emily’s boss Sylvie) says, “This season sums up to one word: Revenge.” Lucien Laviscount (Alfie) chooses the words “Chaotic” and “heartbreaking” to describe the upcoming instalment.

The teaser also promises the return of Samuel Arnold (Julian), Bruno Gouery (Luc) and Lucas Bravo (Gabriel).

Season 3 of Emily in Paris ended on a cliff hanger with Alfie ending his relationship with Emily and Camille revealing that she is pregnant with Gabriel's child. The dramatic finale also made Emily's enduring love for Gabriel evident. The fourth season will reportedly continue from this juncture.

In January 2022, Netflix had renewed the series for seasons three and four simultaneously. The third season of Emily in Paris premiered on the streaming platform on December 21, 2022.
