As Lily Collins' Emily Cooper heads to Rome to set up a meeting between her boss Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) and renowned Roman entrepreneur Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini), she finds herself drawn to the latter, leading to a series of events in Emily in Paris Season 4 Part II trailer.
Dropped by Netflix on Monday, the two-minute-29-second trailer opens with Sylvie hiring a new American team member, Genevieve (Thalia Besson), at Savoir. However, Genevieve soon starts getting close to Emily’s love interest Gabriel, further complicating their relationship.
During a ski outing, Emily, dressed in an Audrey Hepburn-inspired outfit, confronts Gabriel, accusing him of always choosing Camille (Camille Razat) over her. Gabriel attempts to defend himself by stating that Camille is pregnant with his child.
Ashley Park also appears in the trailer as Mindy Chen, a quick-witted nanny and aspiring singer who became Emily’s first friend in Paris after they met in a park.
The following scenes show Sylvie meeting Marcello at a party. Back at the office, Julian (Samuel Arnold) and Luc (Bruno Gouery) discuss how every marketing firm is eager to collaborate with Marcello.
Sylvie soon instructs Emily to arrange a meeting between her and the Roman entrepreneur. Initially hesitant, Emily is sharply reminded by Sylvie that she is particularly good at mixing business with pleasure. Mindy also encourages Emily to be reckless and embrace an adventure.
The subsequent scenes show Emily on a Roman holiday, where she finds herself increasingly drawn to Marcello. However, her fairy tale romance is interrupted when the entire Savoir team arrives in Rome.
The trailer also offers a glimpse of Emily’s ex-boyfriend Alfie (Lucien Leon Laviscount). It ends with Mindy making a joke about Emily’s vibrant love life: "So you’ve been with a French guy, a British guy, and now an Italian. You’re really stamping your passport," says Mindy, as Emily wonders if she prefers Rome over Paris.
“In Season 4, Emily finds herself with a busy travel schedule. From the French Alps to the piazzas of Rome, viewers will vicariously experience amazing new locations through Emily’s eyes,” show creator Darren Star recently told Tudum, Netflix’s companion site.
Part II of Emily in Paris Season 4 is slated to hit Netflix on September 12. Part I of the fourth season of the romantic comedy-drama series is currently available to stream on the platform.
