Ishan Mitra and lyricist Ritam Sen have released their new single Ektu Holeo with Culture Sync. Ektu Holeo breaks the conventional narrative of a love song. The narrator tells a story of a moment. The song speaks of reaching out to a person who we miss every day, with whom we don’t have a connection anymore. The song talks about unrequited love. Talking about the song, Ritam Sen said, “My songs are inspired by my life stories. Ektu Holeo talks about unreciprocated love. The song is beautifully composed by Prithish and Gourab. I felt Ishan Mitra is the right person who could lend his soulful voice to the song. We have been working with each other for a very long time. Ishan is a very good friend and since we have worked together for so long, it’s easier for him to understand my lyrics and sing it accordingly. We have a great wavelength.”

“The song is very close to my heart. The way Ritam has penned the lyrics is beautiful. It has been a treat to give voice to his writing. The lyrics are extremely beautiful and sweet. The programming arrangement is great too,” says Ishan Mitra.
