On Tuesday morning, the makers of Dunki, one of the most anticipated films of the year and set to release on December 21, unveiled the trailer of the film. Led by Shah Rukh, the three-minute trailer of Dunki, is heartwarming and humorous, with SRK — who plays Hardayal Singh Dhillon aka Hardy —providing the voiceover and talking about himself and his motley crew of friends and what their dream is — to travel to London. The one big impediment? Their knowledge of English is wanting. Through a series of hilarious and often emotional sequences, director Rajkumar Hirani paints a picture of the group, comprising Taapsee Pannu as Mannu, Vicky Kaushal as Sukhi, Vikram Kochhar as Buggu and Anil Grover as Balli, as they embark on a mad ride. Dunki Drop 4, beautifully unfolds the layers of friendship and love, taking the audience on a thrilling ride through the Dunki route — the path these friends embark on to reach their desired destination. The penultimate moments of the trailer show SRK in an older avatar, bringing back memories of his cool Vikram Rathore in Jawan.

Shah Rukh shared Dunki Drop 4 on his social media handles with the words: "Yeh kahani maine shuru ki thi, Laltu se! Isey khatam bhi main hi karunga... apne Ullu de patthon ke saath. Dunki’s trailer will show you a journey that began with Raju Sir’s vision. It will take you through a madcap ride of friendship, the comedy and tragedy that life is and a nostalgia for home & family."

The Bollywood Badshah, who is working with box-office magician Hirani for the first time, will look to complete a hattrick of blockbusters this year with Dunki, after the huge successes of Pathaan in January and Jawan in September.
