In the newly released image, Tabu is seen wearing an all-black ensemble with her hair tied neatly in a tulle veil.

Dune: Prophecy premiered on JioCinema in India on November 18, a day after hitting Max in other countries.

“It has been an extraordinary experience playing Sister Francesca in Dune: Prophecy right from the moment I was approached for it, and I said yes without batting an eyelid. It's an actor's delight to be trusted by the creators with a character that is so interesting, intriguing, intelligent and emotionally powerful,” Tabu said in a statement to PTI.

Dune: Prophecy revolves around two Harkonnen sisters as they face threats to humanity's future and lay the foundation for the legendary Bene Gesserit order. Set 10,000 years before the events depicted in Frank Herbert’s iconic novel Dune, the series is adapted from Sisterhood of Dune penned by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.

In addition to Tabu, the ensemble cast of Dune: Prophecy includes Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Johdi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason and Shalom Brune-Franklin.
